April 18, 2014 This was my 7th workout session. My mentor and I was just talking about if I could run the Lake Merced or not and just to tell me to keep my pace and to take my time. To start off everything today we went to stretch only our legs. The usual thing we did was to go on the treadmill for an hour then we went to do some leg press. I lift more weight with my legs then my arms so I put at least 50-60 lbs weights on both side. I was doing that for at least 5-6 reps. The only thing we did with arms was to squat with some weights with a bar on my shoulder and have 15lb on each side to squat with that 20 times. I was doing that for 4 to 5 times. Then I went off to my self and I did the treadmill for the next 20-30 mins or so on my own and ran it in a fast pace without stopping or anything. My goal was for today to see if I am ready for tomrorow or not and to see if I accomplish anything from yesterday. Then my goal for tommorrow is to see if I could keep pace on Lake merced it is at least 4.5 miles to run it.
