8th Workout Session April 19, 2014

April 19, 2014 My 8th workout session with my mentor. So today is the day to run Lake Merced in Sunset. So I met up with my mentor at the gym to get my blood flowing so I ran on the treadmill for an hour I was just jogging it for awhile. I wasn't doing it in a fast pace or anything. Then I got off of it and my mentor told me to come with him then we went off to go to Lake Merced with him. When we got there it seemed like this big lap is going to take me at least 3 hours. So pretty much the first thing we did was to stretch off to the side and to make sure we won't pull any muscle or anything because if you pull anything in your body that means you didn't stretch out enough. Then after stretching we went off to go run it we were jogging it for a while we had to hold our own water bottles while were running. It was pretty sunny when we were running but then it was getting windy because  it was kind of near the beach (ocean beach). Anyways we were jogging it for at least a good 20 mins then I started to get tired and I kind of stop but then I had to push my self to keep going. We ran a quarter of it then we took a break to get some water. So pretty much we stopped 4 times and we ran it in like 2-3 hours because we ran around it 2 times. If we ran it 1 time it be a waste of time so we just ran it 2 times. It was pretty tiring to run it but it was pretty good I started to get my pace going. So my goal today was to see if I could of ran this lake merced if my workout in the gym help me with anything. My next goal is to see if I could accomplished anything from lifting weights.
